Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing advanced nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities: Conduct nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies using GE equipment. Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and provide accurate imaging results. Support patient preparation and comfort throughout procedures.
Qualifications & Skills: ARRT Nuclear Medicine or Radiology certification, BLS, NMTCB, and state licensure. Experience with adult to geriatric patients, proficiency in high scan load environments, and flexibility to float within the department and other facilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Duties: Perform scheduled scans, participate in on-call coverage, and work during holidays as scheduled. Maintain compliance with protocols and ensure safety standards are met.
