What This Role Looks Like

This is a leadership role.

As a Landscaping Lead Technician, you will lead a crew on job sites while making real-time decisions to keep jobs moving. You will be responsible for using your team, equipment, and materials the right way so work is completed efficiently and on time.

A strong Lead Technician does not stop when problems come up — they solve them and keep the job moving.

Team Leads must:

• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (insurance eligibility required)
• Be able to legally drive company vehicles, including truck and trailer
• Be able to be added to our insurance policy
• Show leadership skills to guide and direct crew members
• Make good decisions in the field without constant direction

We service residential and commercial properties. Crews also assist with seasonal services like leaf cleanups and other landscaping work.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead 1–3 crew members on job sites
• Perform mulch installation, bush trimming, rock installation, property cleanups, de-weeding, and leaf removal
• Operate landscaping equipment and ensure proper use by crew
• Keep jobs moving and make adjustments when problems come up
• Maintain clean, organized trucks and trailers
• Deliver quality work that meets company standards for efficiency and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for insurance)
• Must be able to legally drive company vehicles (truck and trailer)
• Must be able to be added to our insurance policy
• Age 21 if driving company vehicles (insurance requirement)
• Prior landscaping experience preferred
• Leadership ability and strong decision-making skills
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work outdoors in all seasons
• Physical ability to lift/move equipment and perform labor-intensive tasks
• Must follow all non-smoking rules (no smoking in vehicles, job sites, or client properties)
