Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and communal areas using proper cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and environmental services by adhering to OSHA guidelines and safety protocols
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing to ensure spotless surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials in resident rooms and shared spaces
- Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleans as scheduled or needed for infection control purposes
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe living environment for residents
Requirements
- Prior experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or environmental services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility cleaning protocols is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures accurately
