Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and accurately process cash and card transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop creative beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to delight guests and elevate the bar menu.
• Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently by managing time effectively during busy hours while ensuring attentive service.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during events such as banquets or nightclub nights, providing seamless guest experiences.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits.
• Proven experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced settings like fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards within the food industry.
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while understanding retail math for inventory control.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as bartending, bar management, or catering is highly desirable.
