Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. You'll be the go-to person for grilling and broiling proteins and vegetables to perfection, ensuring every plate that leaves your station delights our members. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who loves cooking and takes pride in their work.
What You'll Do:
- Cook and plate steaks, seafood, poultry, and vegetables on the broiler according to TVC recipes and standards.
- Make sure every dish leaving your station looks and tastes amazing.
- Keep an eye on cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and food safety.
- Help with prep work as needed, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to make service run smoothly.
- Assist with inventory and proper storage of ingredients.
Who You Are:
- Experienced line cook, ideally with broiler/grill experience.
- Passionate about cooking and creating great food.
- Knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen and can stay calm under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
- Flexible with hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around hot equipment.
