Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Recreation Assistant to join our team in providing engaging activities and support for residents in an Assisted Living setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they remain active and socially connected within their community. This role requires strong schedule management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with caregivers and other staff members.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Engage new resident sand determine their interests.
· Assisted to establish monthly activity calendars.
· Assist in running recreational programs to meet the interests of the residents.
· Assist in coordinating resident trips.
· Assist in running religious services at the Facility.
· Assist in running monthly festivities and parties at the Facility.
· Assist volunteers and their activities.
· Assist to run resident shop days for resident purchase of personal care items.
· Assist in running resident clothing sales.
· Drive the Facility van on trips and on errands as assigned by Supervisor or direct by Administrator or other Management Personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
