Overview
The Venue at Mudge Ranch is looking for a dependable, personable, and hardworking Bartender to join our team for weddings, concerts, and special events. Our bartenders provide fast, friendly, and professional service while keeping the bar organized and running smoothly throughout each event.
Previous bartending experience is highly preferred. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced event environment, works well with a team, and provides excellent guest service.
Pay: $20/hour
Weddings: Bartenders keep their tips
Concerts & Public Events: Tips are pooled between bartenders and servers
Schedule: Event-based, primarily evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the bar before each event
- Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages efficiently and professionally
- Prepare mixed drinks accurately and consistently
- Provide friendly and attentive service to wedding guests and event attendees
- Check identification and follow all alcohol-service requirements
- Monitor alcohol consumption and serve guests responsibly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the event
- Restock beverages, ice, cups, mixers, and other bar supplies as needed
- Handle busy periods while maintaining accuracy and quality service
- Communicate with other bartenders, servers, coordinators, and event staff throughout the event
- Assist with bar breakdown, cleanup, and inventory at the end of the night
- Follow venue policies and procedures
- Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest
Skills
- Previous bartending experience preffered
- Knowledge of common cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and basic bar service
- Comfortable working high-volume weddings, concerts, and special events
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working long event shifts
- Ability to lift and move beverage cases, ice, and bar supplies as needed
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and event-based scheduling
- Responsible alcohol-service certification is preferred
Pay: $20.00 per hour
