Position Overview
The Events Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of private and member-focused events at the Club. This role ensures that every gathering—whether a wedding, golf tournament, member social, or private banquet—reflects the Club’s standards of excellence in service, hospitality, and experience. The Events Manager works closely with members, guests, and internal teams to deliver seamless, memorable events that strengthen the Club community and enhance member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members and clients to plan, design, and coordinate events, including weddings, tournaments, banquets, holiday celebrations, and social functions.
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the event planning process, ensuring clear communication, attention to detail, and personalized service.
- Partner with culinary, food & beverage, and operations teams to coordinate logistics, menus, and event execution.
- Create event proposals, contracts, and detailed event orders while maintaining accurate records and billing.
- Manage timelines and budgets to ensure successful event delivery.
- Develop creative event concepts and enhancements that reflect member interests and the Club’s traditions.
- Ensure compliance with all club policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess member satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with Club-wide communications and marketing of member events, in partnership with the Communications team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event management, preferably in private clubs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with members, guests, and staff.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging, unique event experiences.
- Proficiency with event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Jonas software experience a plus.
