Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Analyst – Labor P&A and Continuous Improvement is to provide insightful analyses and generate assumptions based on operational opportunities, guest experience, volume trends, and financial goals. The position is responsible for simultaneous analytical projects which provide concise, accurate, actionable, and timely conclusions with the goal of better efficiency and profitability.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to develop and communicate key insights on operational performance, guest experience, and financial results.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present labor and productivity performance across all gaming and non-gaming areas for management, senior leadership, and executive teams.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis to drive operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Support and conduct time and motion studies; analyze findings to identify opportunities for process improvement and labor optimization.
  • Lead labor analytics initiatives impacting approximately 8,800 Team Members across 100 departments, delivering data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Challenge existing operational processes, staffing models, and organizational structures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform independent and ad hoc analyses, including staffing productivity reviews, operational performance evaluations, and guest satisfaction assessments.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key business partner during annual labor budgeting and forecasting processes; develop and establish FTE budgets based on productivity targets, historical trends, and operational changes.
  • Ensure all analyses and recommendations align with safety standards, as safety is an essential function of this role.
  • Present complex data and insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to operational leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, as it is an essential function of this role.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or equivalent Casino/Hospitality analysis experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 2 years of analysis experience preferably in Casino/Hospitality industry
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel; Basic understanding of Tableau, SQL, and other business systems preferred
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Critical thinking skills with a curiosity for improving current processes.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to

  • Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
