Position Overview
The Vein Institute is seeking a skilled and motivated surgeon with experience or interest in venous disease to join our growing outpatient vein practice in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position focuses on the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of venous insufficiency and related conditions in a modern, office-based surgical setting.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and related venous disorders
- Perform office-based vein procedures, including:
- Endovenous ablation (laser or radiofrequency)
- Microphlebectomy
- Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy
- Sclerotherapy
- Proficiency in use of ultrasound
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide follow-up care and long-term venous disease management
- Work collaboratively with nurse practitioners, medical assistants, ultrasound technologists, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in practice development and community education when appropriate
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in one of the following:
- Vascular Surgery
- General Surgery
- Interventional Radiology
- Other relevant surgical specialty with vein experience
- Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
- Experience with endovenous procedures preferred (training available for motivated candidates)
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
