The Vault Gun & Pawn is Kansas City’s newest destination to buy, sell, trade, and pawn. We’re locally owned and operated, with 12 years of industry experience, and we’re building a team that knows how to take care of customers and get the job done.
The majority of our business is centered around firearms, accessories, and ammunition, and we’re looking for motivated people who are confident working with customers and have a strong understanding of firearms.
What We’re Looking For
Strong sales ability and exceptional customer service are a MUST. We want people who enjoy talking with customers, building relationships, understanding what they’re looking for, and helping create a great experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Firearms knowledge and a strong commitment to safety are also essential. You should be comfortable discussing firearms and accessories, understand safe firearm handling, and be willing to follow all company policies and applicable ATF requirements.
Customer service experience is a major plus, but a great attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to connect with people go a long way.
We’re also looking for someone with experience in CRM systems, website management, online sales, and social media marketing to help us grow and expand our online presence.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create an experience that keeps customers coming back.
- Drive sales by building relationships, asking the right questions, understanding customer needs, and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Have strong firearms knowledge and safe-handling practices.
- Maintain a professional and safety-focused environment at all times.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements to maintain ATF compliance.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Educate customers on products, accessories, and services while providing knowledgeable and responsible assistance.
- Help customers find the complete package for their needs while providing honest, professional service.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, fun work environment.
