Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan servicing and possess knowledge of various loan processing procedures.
Duties
· Mail out required communications to loan customers such as, payment notices, rate changes, vehicle registration reminders
· Reviews all department reporting and tracking daily
· Daily balancing of loan general ledgers
· Review and apply loan payments accurately, including auto debit loan payments
· Files and releases UCC Financing Statements, NSI, and STA forms related to perfection of collateral on loans, processing mortgage filings and releases, and the processing of any loan modifying documentation
· Responsible for imaging and maintaining all lending records
· Prepare loan modifications, loan maturity extensions and interest extensions
· Ensures that all liens, including mortgages and notice of liens are filed in a timely matter to protect the Bank’s lien on collateral
· Answers loan customer phone calls and assists customers with routine inquiries regarding payoffs, changes of owner, note modifications, beneficiaries and other loan details
· Complete Verification of Mortgage and credit references
· Support loan officers by retrieving documents as requested
· Support teller by processing customer transactions as needed
Skills
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Detail oriented
· Previous experience in loan administration preferred
· Knowledge of general banking policies/procedures
