Woodlands Medical Specialists in Pensacola, Florida (www.woodlandsmed.com)  is looking for a  BC/BE Internal Medicine physician, with a strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent patient care.  This is a highly regarded, very busy, physician-owned, multi-specialty group with professional management and ample support staff allowing you to focus on patient care. 

The Primary Care division is a top tier performer in multiple managed care arrangements offering supplemental income and shared savings with >$400k annual income potential for partnered physicians after only two years of employment. Average patient volume is 23 patients per day and includes support from Advance Practice Providers.

Current physician specialties in the group include Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Urology, Pulmonology, Primary Care, Breast Health, and Diagnostic Imaging.  Woodlands provides convenient access to fully accredited advanced imaging services, specialty referrals and an in-house laboratory

The Pensacola area is home to more than 461,000 residents.  It has a large naval military presence and is home to the famed Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron.  Most notably, Pensacola is situated on the “Emerald Coast” of Florida and boasts beautiful white sand beaches and enjoys favorable temperatures year-round.  It is home to an international airport that is served by most of the major air carriers nationally.  Lastly, it has strong options for education both public and private. 

Woodlands Medical Specialists is affiliated with The US Oncology Network.  US Oncology is the largest network of community based cancer centers in the United States and supports its practices operationally, enabling the physicians to focus on what matters most, treating patients.  .  The position includes base salary and productivity bonus plus benefits and CME stipend.
