Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and organize displays effectively
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
- Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with cashiering duties including basic math calculations and transaction processing
- Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone
Qualifications
- Previous experience in THE UPS STORE retail sales
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and stock management
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and perform product demos effectively
- Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management
