We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments using proper packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and update inventory management software accordingly
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move stock efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities through data entry into ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms
• Coordinate with carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards
• Conduct inventory counts regularly using warehouse distribution systems to monitor stock levels and assist in order fulfillment
• Assist with order picking & packing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders, including e-commerce orders

Experience

• Proven experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
• Hands-on experience with inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools
• Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely (certification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
• Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members, carriers, and suppliers
