Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of shipments, including the preparation, organization, and quality control of incoming and outgoing products. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, operating forklifts, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The clerk will also be responsible for generating invoices and processing credit card payments for shipments. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesGenerate invoices for each shipment and process credit card payments as neededStage finished products for loading, ensuring correct and organized placementPull and pack sales orders based on customer specifications and deadlinesNotify the Customer Service department when shipments are ready for pickupUnload trucks and verify counts for all incoming items, ensuring accuracyCompare suppliers' counts to received goods and report discrepancies to the carrier and purchasing departmentEnsure that no damaged products are shipped, and no damaged raw materials are acceptedCommunicate with team members and other departments to coordinate shipping and receiving effortsCount and receive all incoming products, confirming quantities and qualityOrganize and maintain warehouse shelves, ensuring products are stored in an orderly mannerOperate forklifts to move products within the warehouse as necessaryPeriodically check bins to ensure the accuracy of parts and part numbersOperate company computer system to verify parts currently in stockParticipate in the annual physical inventory process to ensure accuracy and completeness of stockPerforms other duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment.Forklift certification.Experience with inventory management systems.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.BenefitsPivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
