We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Seasonal Associates to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and support sales efforts in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Seasonal Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs, manage transactions, and help maintain an organized store. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring a positive shopping experience during our peak season.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Support sales initiatives through upselling and promoting current promotions or products.
- Supervise and mentor new team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the sales floor and stockroom.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak season.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic retail setting.
