Sales Associate at The UPS Store, Escanaba, MI.
The UPS Store network is the world's largest franchisor of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers. Locally owned and operated franchise.
Job Requirements: Position requires exceptional customer service skills, excellent typing speed and accuracy, ability to lift heavy packages, and ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to interact with customers both in person and on the telephone. Must be dependable and punctual. Knowledge of Word and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
Additional duties include: Processing packages for shipment. Proper packaging of items being shipped using established procedures and products. Recording all sales on the POS (point-of-sale) system and accurately collecting and processing cash, check and credit card transactions. Retail sale of merchandise as well as merchandising the center. Printing, photocopying, desktop publishing/word processing, faxing, and other general office and cleaning duties.
High school diploma required.
Both Full-time and Part-time position available. Part-time is approximately 20-30 hours per week. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including 2 Saturdays per month. Store hours M-F 8am-6:30 pm, Saturday 8am-1:30pm, Closed Sunday. Applicant must be available to work during those hours, primarily afternoon/closing shifts.
Salary: Starting wage depends on experience.
