About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and proactive Operations Manager or Executive Assistant to work directly alongside the business owner. This is a hybrid role that combines administrative support with hands-on operational oversight. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong research skills, excellent planning abilities, and the initiative to take ownership of business processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the owner to plan and implement new business processes to drive operational excellence
- Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, including scheduling, calendar management, and email correspondence
- Conduct online research to support decision-making and solve business challenges
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training support for new employees
- Oversee and improve internal processes and documentation for store operations
- Ensure compliance with corporate, state, and local requirements (e.g., safety, training, certifications)
- Track performance metrics and help identify areas for improvement
- Support marketing and outreach initiatives when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations, executive assistance, or administrative roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe tools (Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and research capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal
- Experience in retail or small business settings is a plus
- Familiarity with franchise operations or logistics is a bonus, but not required
