The UPS Store is hiring a Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, retail sales, shipping services, and working with people.
As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with shipping, printing, packaging, mailbox services, and retail purchases while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Help customers with shipping services including packaging, UPS shipments, and shipping labels
- Assist with printing services, document services, and retail product sales
- Operate POS systems, printers, and store equipment
- Prepare and package shipments according to store procedures
- Recommend products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store
- Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods
- Follow store procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
- Basic computer and POS system skills (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required
