Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to meet their shipping, printing, and retail needs
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling additional services or merchandise to enhance their experience
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing products for easy access
- Conduct retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and transaction totals
- Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or providing information over the phone
- Support supervising staff during busy periods, including supervising sales floor activities and customer interactions
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions is highly preferred
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail or grocery store setting
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and inventory management
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos is a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is advantageous
