Job Description:

This job is specifically for Graphic Design to Digital Print Production leading a team of print specialists.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented print specialist to join our team and step into an administrative/supervisory role. As a print specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing equipment to produce high-quality prints. Administrative duties may include billing, scheduling job tickets, and reporting of print stats.

Ideal Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating printing equipment is preferred

- Knowledge of digital printing processes and techniques

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing equipment

- Creative problem solving and excellent time management

Duties:

- Operate and maintain printing equipment such as Digital Print machines, and finishing equipment.

- Knowledge in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

- Set up and adjust machines for each print job, ensuring accurate color reproduction and print quality

- Prepare and load materials onto machines, such as pretreat, paper, ink, and files

- Monitor the printing process to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and overall print quality

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

- Effective communication with the print staff to ensure task completion and proper support is provided

Location:

- The UPS Store 2193 : 19701 Bethel Church Rd Ste 103, Cornelius, NC 28031

- Store Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 8a – 7p

- Saturdays: 9a – 4:00p

- Sundays: 11a – 4:00p

Schedule:

Cornelius: 9a-5:30p M-F

Closed all federal Holidays

Pay:

- Pay is every 2 weeks. The week is Sunday to Saturday.

- Experience dependent $20-25/hr
