Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager with a background in The UPS Store, FedEx, or similar shipping and printing environments. This role is ideal for a motivated leader ready to take full ownership of store operations, manage a high-performing team, and consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver, tech-savvy, and well-versed in the processes and service expectations of a retail ship-and-print business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing
- Deliver outstanding customer service across all store services
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to uphold brand and service standards
- Manage all core services: shipping, printing, packaging, mailboxes, and notary
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction
- Ensure full compliance with franchise guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Experience required in The UPS Store, FedEx, Kinko’s, or a similar shipping/quick-print environment
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in retail or customer service
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a small team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Comfortable using technology, including POS systems, Microsoft Office, internet tools; experience with printing software (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Notary Public certification (or willingness to become certified — we’ll assist with the process)
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must successfully pass a background check
Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling.
- Rotating weekend shifts required.
- Our business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 6:30pm; Saturday, 9am – 5pm; Sunday, 11pm – 4pm.
- Closed on major holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
