Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shipping, printing, and retail needs.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Conduct product demos to showcase store offerings and promote additional services or merchandise.
• Upsell relevant products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales performance.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an appealing shopping environment.
• Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in a grocery store or similar environment.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to accurately process transactions.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases.
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining professionalism. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (email, POS systems, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours
