Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their retail and printing needs
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers with product demos, printing services, packaging supplies, and shipping options
• Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing products for easy access
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Promote upselling opportunities by recommending additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction
• Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone
• Support supervising staff by overseeing daily store operations and ensuring excellent service standards

Skills

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
• Proven supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in daily store operations
• Ability to perform retail tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively
• Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial for understanding retail environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Sales experience with upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (email, POS systems, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours
