To provide World Class Customer service to our customers by providing efficient and effective communication exceeding customers expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Smile. Greet customers and determine how to exceed their expectations
*Deliver exceptional customer service through customer interaction and quality product delivery.
Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes modules accurately.
*Record all sales transactions on POS and accurately process cash, check and credit card transactions. Print reports as requested.
*Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
*Operate all other software packages.
*Receive and process packages for courier shipping, including lifting and weighing packages on scale, accessing Manifesting software, generating labels and retrieving from customer's vehicle when requested.
*Ordering and maintaining proper store inventory and working with vendors.
*Assist customers with tracing and shipping claims.
*Assist in merchandising the center, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
*Perform end of day Procedures including: closing POS systems and accounting for sales accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
*Operate copiers, fax machines, binding and cutting equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Help customers with operate office equipment.
*General housekeeping duties.
Qualifications Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
* If you are a NYS NOTARY you will get higher priority & commissions.
*1 years customer service experience in a retail environment.
* POS and computer experience required with the ability to type at least 25-30 words per minute.
*Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers in person and over the phone.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Associates or Bachelor Degree Preferred but Experience Counts.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50lbs regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, copiers and complete customer paperwork.
Hours
Stores are open M-F 8.30 - 6.30PM; Sat 9-5, Sundays 10-3 A typical shift may fall anywhere within that timeframe.
HIRING FOR MULTIPLE LOCATIONS- Candidates may be offered a position to work in Albany or Clifton park areas.
