Retail Sales and Customer Service Associate

At The UPS Store, we are more than just the first thing that comes to mind. Sure, we sell boxes, and ship UPS, but there is a wide list of services offered beyond just those things. We are seeking committed, detail oriented individuals that are seeking a position where they can learn to be a true multi-tasker and take on the proverbial "anything that walks through the door."
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
- Clean and stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are well-displayed and organized.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, fostering a positive shopping environment.
- Pack and ship a wide variety of things for customers while also following UPS guidelines and regulations for packing and shipping.
Our ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. They must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
Job Type: Part Time (15-30 hours weekly) We are open M-F 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. -5 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. We rotate weekends.
Pay: $13 starting per hour, with additional pay if you are able to become a Notary Public.
