SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE
Oversees all aspects of association operations, ensuring compliance with NAR, Tennessee Realtors®, and Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors® rules and regulations. Dedicated to providing exceptional service to members, the board, committees, and staff, fostering a well-informed and engaged membership.
Responsibilities
· Plans, formulates, and recommends for the approval of the board of directors’ basic policies and programs that will further association objectives
· Establishes a sound organizational structure for the headquarters office
· Plans the general administration of the entire association operation
· Directs and coordinates all approved staff programs, projects, and major activities
· Executes contracts and commitments as authorized by the board of directors or within established policies
· Lead the association staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
· Prepare reports for the board of directors on association activities, finances, and membership status
Physical and Financial Resources
· Maintains a dedicated office location in the Cookeville office with up-to-date office equipment that is analyzed or updated on a routine basis
· Is responsible for collecting all monies paid to the Corporation, maintains all membership records and accounts, approves all administrative expenditures, and, renders a monthly statement of income and expenses to the corporation, ensuring that an independent review is conducted annually for the association
Required Skills
· Strong leadership and management skills
· Proven experience in association management or related field
· In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry and local market
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Public speaking and presentation abilities
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail
· Preferred experience in the following tools- QuickBooks, Canva, Word, Excel, Publisher, Zoom.
Working Conditions and Travel Requirements
· Travel is required for training and conference’s-average 21 days yearly
· In Office 5 days a week in Cookeville, TN office
