Supports research projects by conducting data collection, analysis, and reporting. This role involves collaboration with principal investigators, adherence to research protocols, and contribution to scholarly outputs.
Essential Functions
- Gather and synthesize relevant academic and industry research to support project objectives.
- Assist in developing study protocols, questionnaires, and data collection tools. May assist with the procurement of lab supplies.
- Perform data gathering through surveys, interviews, experiments, or secondary sources; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Draft research findings, technical reports, and contribute to manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
- Adhere to ethical standards, institutional review board (IRB) requirements, and funding agency guidelines.
- Coordinate with investigators, graduate students, and external partners to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare presentations for conferences, seminars, and stakeholder meetings; communicate results clearly to diverse audiences.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline) and two years of research experience (academic or industry).
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with grant writing and research funding processes.
- Familiarity with advanced statistical methods and data visualization tools.
- Prior experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent organizational, quantitative, computational and record keeping skills

- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Monday through Friday; 8:00am through 5:00pm, Flexible, 20 hours per week.
