Salary

The annual salary for this position ranges from $37,600 to $44,000. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

Purpose of Position

Provides advanced coordination and administrative support for clinical site placement, clinical clearance, and compliance processes for academic programs. Supports faculty and program leadership in managing clinical experiences and serves as a resource for placement systems, including system maintenance and user support.

Essential Functions

  • Independently manages and oversees relationships with hospitals, clinics, and community-based agencies that support clinical experiences.
  • Coordinates and approves complex clinical site placements.
  • Works closely with program leadership, faculty, and preceptors to identify, assess, and resolve placement challenges.
  • Exercises independent judgment in addressing placement concerns and recommending solutions.
  • Oversees clinical clearance processes, including review and approval of student compliance documentation.
  • Ensures adherence to program, university, and agency requirements and supports audit readiness.
  • Serves as a senior liaison between students, faculty, preceptors, and clinical agencies to coordinate orientations, trainings, and onboarding.
  • Addresses escalated inquiries requiring advanced resolution and institutional knowledge.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for clinical placement and management systems.
  • Maintains system data integrity, supports system updates, assists with reporting, and provides troubleshooting and guidance to faculty and staff.
  • Provides training, guidance, and mentorship to Clinical Experience Coordinator I staff.
  • Assists with development of training materials and serves as a backup to lead or senior coordinators as needed.
  • Identifies clinical agencies requiring affiliation agreements and collaborates with contracts and legal offices to facilitate execution.
  • Assists with updates to handbooks, procedures, and departmental initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience with clinical placements and placing students for completion of academic coursework or six (6) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in customer service.

  • Strong understanding of the clinical placement process
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of MS Office products

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday; 8:00am through 5:00pm
  • Hybrid work environment (remote & in-office)
