Role Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the President’s priorities through strong coordination, communication, and follow‑through with campus leaders and partners.
- Represent the President in meetings, working groups, and community engagements when appropriate.
- Oversee major institutional events and initiatives originating from the Office of the President.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the President’s Office within USD and throughout the Vermillion community.
- Strengthen executive operations through proactive planning, problem‑solving, and relationship management.
- Graduate degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience in executive operations, administration, or related fields.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, relationship‑building, and strategic coordination.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead staff, and navigate sensitive issues with discretion.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
