Stockroom Coordinator
Facilities Management.
Maintains a perpetual inventory of materials, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items. Performs purchase recording duties, stock reconciliations, and quality checks. Receives, unpacks, prepares, and delivers goods. Performs other routine clerical duties.
- Records purchases; performs physical counts of inventory and reconciles stock count to office records or computed figures from records including sales orders, production records, and purchase invoices to obtain inventory levels.
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors; investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Receives, unpacks, prepares, and delivers goods; stocks items as needed; labels shelves; performs quality checks on stored inventory.
- Contacts vendors and purchasing agents.
- Prepares reports not limited to inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
- Performs other routine clerical duties not limited to assisting customers, answering telephones, and data entry as needed.
Physical Effort
Employee will handle procurement for the stockroom, E&G engineers, and office supplies for E&G. In addition, they will assist customers with stockroom withdrawal requests.
