Job Summary:
Ensures timely and accurate billing for medical services. Process claims, resolves billing issues, and maintains patient records.Job Description:
- Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information for billing purposes, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and insurance requirements.
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Follow up on submitted claims to track payment status, identify and resolve any claim rejections or denials, and pursue outstanding balances.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing statements, insurance coverage, and payment options, providing accurate and helpful information.
- Maintain and update patient financial records, including billing and payment details.
