Join the KU School of Pharmacy as our Admissions & Recruitment Manager and play a key role in attracting, advising, and supporting future pharmacists from first inquiry through enrollment.
In this highly visible position, you will oversee PharmD admissions operations, manage applicant communications and CRM workflows, coordinate interviews and admissions processes, and serve as a trusted resource for prospective students. You will also lead recruitment efforts across Kansas and the region by representing the School at outreach events, building relationships with advisors and community partners, and coordinating on-campus and virtual recruitment programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the PharmD admissions process, applicant communications, data tracking, and admissions workflows.
- Advise prospective students on admissions requirements, prerequisite coursework, and application competitiveness.
- Coordinate recruitment events, campus visits, information sessions, and outreach initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with pre-pharmacy advisors, schools, colleges, and community partners.
- Analyze admissions and recruitment data to support enrollment goals and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university partners to enhance the student recruitment experience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience.
- Experience in admissions, recruitment, student services, advising, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM or database systems.
- Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
This position includes statewide and regional travel, as well as occasional evening and weekend commitments.
