Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
- Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
- Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
- Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology
- Registered by the ARRT (R)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
