Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
Work with tradesmen by assisting with tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, welding, HVAC and other necessary duties to keep campus facilities maintained and working.
Work with Landscape and Grounds, as needed, to assist with mowing, weed eating and other such tasks to keep the grounds looking nice.
Act as backup for running the daily mail route.
Other duties as assigned.

This job will be assisting Physical Plant tradesmen and the Landscape and Grounds department with different tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, welding, HVAC, mowing, weed eating, etc.
This person will also be a backup for running the daily mail route around campus and taking it to the post office to be mailed out .
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position
High School Diploma with some college is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation including, a criminal background check demonstrating your eligibility for employment with the University of Georgia; confirmation of the credentials and employment history reflected in your application materials (including reference checks) as they relate to the job-based requirements of the position applied for; and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check.
