Position Summary

The Athletics Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating of day to day functions for development department and serving as a member of the Husky Athletic Fund. This position is instrumental in managing the administrative components of the Athletics Development office and assisting in the revenue generation elements of Athletics Development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all incoming inquiries, including and not limited to the athletics point system, ticket requests and event arrangements.
  • Assist in management of the Athletics database (Paciolan) which includes, but is not limited to running fundraising reports, compiling lists of donors/lapsed donors, processing donations and, data integrity checks and supporting the team in other database-related measures.
  • Manage campus visits, meetings, and tours with prospects, donors and others.
  • Collaborate with Advancement Services, Finance, Marketing & Communications, General Counsel’s office and other Foundation or University units to organize and coordinate special projects and proposals.
  • Submits new donor prospect biographical information (i.e., changes, corrections, revisions) to Foundation databases.
  • Participate in planning donor related events and stewardship activities: including pre-event planning, registration, and post-event wrap up.
  • Provide support for home football, men’s, and women’s basketball donor hospitality areas. This will require the ability to work outside of normal business hours, but with advance notice.
  • Assist in providing general office support when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Design experience preferred, to include photoshop and InDesign
  • Exhibits excellent customer service and is effective in handling situations with donors, Foundation staff, University staff, and visitors.
  • Integrity in dealing with confidential information.
  • Willingness and availability to work some nights and weekends.
  • Must be able and willing to travel. Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license issued from the state in which employee resides. Employee must maintain, at his or her expense, automobile liability insurance coverage in the minimum amount of $500,000 or a combination of umbrella and automobile liability insurance coverage of $500,000. Evidence of this coverage, in the form of a certificate of automobile insurance, must be provided to the Foundation at hire and annually thereafter.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 years’ experience in athletics development, support, or related experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Demonstrated ability to work in multiple system environments including databases and/or a CRM.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Paciolan preferred.c
