Chemical Batching Machine Operator

Job Summary: As a Machine Operator in our chemical processing plant, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the manufacturing of chemical products. Your expertise in machine operation and manufacturing processes will play a crucial role in maintaining production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor various machines involved in chemical processing, including mixers, reactors, and packaging equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product specifications and quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch quantities and operational parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulatory compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum [1 year] of experience in a manufacturing or machine operating role, preferably in a chemical processing environment.
• Strong understanding of machine operation and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
