Job Title: Chemical Operator

Job Description

The Chemical Operator will be responsible for formulation work, mixing batches of chemicals for the scale-up of the product. They will execute a batch schedule, deal with raw materials, and monitor the process. This role requires previous experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing and experience with formulations and mixing batches of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations as described in SOPs and GMPs.
• Test quality of raw materials through chemical analysis.
• Conduct experimental batch mixing.
• Adjust and document experimental batch mixes until the finished product meets specific specifications.
• Test the quality of products through chemical analysis.
• Collect and process data for analysis.
• Sample, inspect, measure, and approve components and chemicals for production usage.
• Inspect and approve finished products.
• Verify packaging weights and labeling.

Essential Skills

• Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with formulations and mixing batches of chemicals.
• Proficiency in SOPs and GMPs.
• Chemical analysis skills.
• Data collection and processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The role is in a pilot scale manufacturing environment. One position will be for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday). The second position could be either on the first shift (7 AM - 3 PM) or third shift (11 PM - 7 AM).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
