Role Description
The Instructor role is a part-time, on-site position located in Gladstone, MO. As an Instructor, you will provide individualized academic support to students using our One-to-One Instruction™ and Rotational Approach to Learning ®. Responsibilities include delivering tutoring sessions in core subjects, monitoring student progress, and offering encouragement to build confidence and motivation. You will collaborate with the center’s team to ensure each student achieves their maximum academic potential in a welcoming and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core academic subjects, particularly in Math, Reading, and Writing
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with children
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- A passion for education and helping children achieve academic success
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Education, Mathematics, English, or related fields
- Patient, enthusiastic, and motivated to engage students of all skill levels
- Ability to work on-site during afternoons and evenings, according to the center's schedule
