Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Instructor at The Tutoring Center’s Gladstone, MO location. The Instructor will deliver the company’s signature teaching methods, focusing on one-on-one instruction and small group learning through the Rotational Approach to Learning®. Daily tasks will include tutoring students in reading, writing, and mathematics, cultivating positive learning habits, and evaluating student progress. Instructors will create an engaging, structured learning environment that supports each child’s unique educational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching or tutoring reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate students positively.
- Organizational abilities to manage time effectively and maintain lesson structure.
- Ability to work independently while following established teaching methods.
- Previous experience in education or tutoring is preferred, but not required.
- A passion for working with children and fostering their academic growth.
- Bachelor's degree, or working toward your degree in Education or a related field is required
