Job Description
The Trial Concierge is seeking a qualified Paralegal with courtroom experience and knowledge of trial technology to support attorneys and legal teams during trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
The ideal candidate has a paralegal background and experience with courtroom technology, including deposition video synchronization (depo synching), trial presentation systems, and hot seat trial tech support.
This position begins on a contract or PRN basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as business needs grow. Candidates should be flexible, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced courtroom environment. Travel may be required depending on trial locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide paralegal and litigation support for attorneys and trial teams.
- Assist with trial preparation, legal documents, exhibits, and case materials.
- Support courtroom technology setup and troubleshooting.
- Perform deposition video synchronization and prepare video for trial presentation.
- Assist with trial presentation software, multimedia exhibits, and hot seat operations.
- Help set up, test, and operate courtroom AV/IT equipment.
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and trial support personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout legal proceedings.
- Travel to trial locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience or a background in litigation support.
- Courtroom or trial experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of deposition synchronization and trial presentation technology is a plus.
- Experience with hot seat trial technology or litigation presentation software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Flexibility to work based on trial schedules, including consecutive days when needed.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Candidates with a combination of paralegal experience and courtroom IT/trial technology skills are especially encouraged to apply.
