Peppermill Pub & Lounge is a neighborhood restaurant in Beaverton known for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As part of Traxler Management Inc., a locally owned Oregon restaurant management group, we take pride in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting strong, dependable teams behind the scenes.
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values accuracy, and takes pride in keeping financial records organized and balanced.
The Role
This position is scheduled for two consistent days per week at our Beaverton location, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a reliable part-time schedule. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional bookkeeping shifts at other nearby locations as needed.
The Bookkeeper is responsible for accurately counting, reconciling, and preparing daily deposits while ensuring all financial records balance correctly. A significant portion of this role involves reconciling Oregon Lottery transactions, making attention to detail and strong cash balancing skills essential.
Pay & Benefits
- $23.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Count and reconcile daily cash, credit card, and Oregon Lottery receipts
- Prepare and verify bank deposits
- Balance cash drawers and investigate discrepancies
- Reconcile Oregon Lottery paperwork and transactions accurately
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Complete bookkeeping tasks with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Communicate discrepancies or concerns promptly to management
- Provide occasional bookkeeping coverage at other company locations when needed
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or high-volume cash handling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with spreadsheets or accounting software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Dependable with excellent attendance and time management
- Experience with Oregon Lottery operations or reconciliation is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate with strong bookkeeping and cash balancing experience
