The Toledo Clinic's Endocrinology Office, is seeking a full-time LPN to perform both nursing and clerical duties in a busy office. This position is full-time and offers employee benefits. Hours are M-F (8:00-4:30) with no weekends, call, or holidays.
Credentialed Medical Assistants (RMA/CMA/CCMA) will also be considered. Previous experience in a medical office is strongly preferred.
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT/A). For candidates that have not yet obtained or need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Drs. with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).
- Escorting patients to exam room.
- Preparing exam rooms.
- Preparing patient for Drs. (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).
- Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
- Administering injections.
- At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.
- Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
- Follow up with lab work and/or xrays.
- Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- Current State LPN licensure required or MA credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA)
- Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
- Practical Nursing education or MA Certification
- Previous experience in a medical office
