Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for incoming guests
- Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly to maintain a clean dining area
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables regularly
- Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper sanitation and adherence to food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Assist in setting up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service items
- Mopping bathrooms and dining are at the the end of the day.
Qualifications
- Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of supplies or furniture
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and provide good customer service
- Knowledge of table setting standards and food safety protocols is a plus
- Reliable with a positive attitude; able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Basic understanding of catering or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
