What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Food Prep position at The Toasted Pickle GR?
The Toasted Pickle is an artisan sandwich shop located near downtown Grand Rapids where everything is made from scratch every day! We have an experienced team all around and like to have fun at work while also putting out amazing food with great service.
We are looking for motivated individuals who work well in a team environment, don't mind working in an open kitchen, and are willing to get dirty in the dish pit to get the job done. We are looking for someone who is also willing to help out wherever they are needed.
The job duties of this postition include:
- Washing dishes (with a dish machine)
- Deep cleaning the dish area
- Meat portioning prepping food products
- Sweeping, mopping, and closing down the dish area
Previous experience is not required. We will provide all on site training. If line cook experience is desired, there is a clear pathway to moving up into a line cook position.
Shifts are normally 4pm - 9pm, however day shifts are a possibility this summer.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
