Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts.
- Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems on diverse vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles when applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing suspension systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy equipment mechanics tasks such as working on air brake systems and auto body repairs when necessary.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver top-tier service.
