Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
- Execute routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, tune ups, brakes, and tire service to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair and replace critical parts with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Knowledge of engine repair, auto electrical systems, suspension components, and brake repair.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts replacement.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs needed and completed.
