Mid-Level Capital Markets / M&A Associate – Washington, D.C.
Our client is seeking a mid-level Capital Markets / M&A Associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team with a collaborative culture and strong opportunities for professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience handling a variety of capital markets transactions, public company reporting, and SEC compliance matters. Candidates should have experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, working with the SEC and other regulators, advising public companies on disclosure and corporate governance matters, and preparing Exchange Act filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.
Experience with public and private company M&A transactions is a strong plus. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong business judgment, the ability to manage client relationships effectively, and the maturity to work on sophisticated corporate matters.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed or eligible to become licensed in Washington, D.C.
- Must reside in the Washington, D.C. area at or prior to the time of hire
- Must be able to work in the office at least three business days per week
- Large regional, national, or international law firm experience preferred
- Excellent academic credentials required
