Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will collaborate directly with the Director of Business Administration and Chief Operating Officer as part of the administrative team. This role supports agency-wide operations by performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and accounting duties, including executive office coordination. The Administrative Assistant will assist with billing processes, financial tracking, reporting, and general office operations, ensuring all tasks are completed with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to provide professional and responsive service to both internal teams and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, human resources, or related field
- At least three years of related experience with proven office administration and customer service skills; finance experience is a plus
- Solid working knowledge of office processes, nonprofit policy development, and related computer software and electronic communication tools
- Valid California driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- First Aid/CPR Certified
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a public entity or nonprofit environment
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered
