Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the local and regional market
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, and referrals
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions
- Prepare and present proposals in collaboration with internal technical teams
- Manage relationships from initial contact through close, ensuring a smooth handoff to implementation
- Track activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools
- Represent The Tech Laboratory at networking events, community events, and industry functions
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and evolving client needs
- Prepare and deliver Lunch & Learn presentations to educate prospective clients and generate new business opportunities
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (B2B preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and consultative selling
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts at a high level (IT/MSP experience is a plus, but not required)
- Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable
- Local to Midland, MI or surrounding areas
